We’ve expanded to two days!
With the addition of the second day of HighBall Halloween, we have added Kid’s
Day. An afternoon full of costumes, games, live entertainment, and more… who
could pass it up!
Costume Contest
We value each one of our
participants! The children begin lining up at 12:45pm and then starting at 1:00pm
they get a chance to present their costumes on the famed HighBall Runway. The
contestants are divided into three age groups— Little Sprouts for 0-4 years
old, Tumbly Pumpkins for 5-8 years old, and Jack-o-lanterns for 9-12 years old.
A little treat is provided to all participants while the kids are “fighting”
for great prizes as 1st, 2nd and 3rd place
prizes in each age category.
Judging Criteria
- Presentation (How well did the costumer/performer present the costume on stage? Did the judge see the entire costume?)
- Originality (idea, design, construction)
- Creativity (idea, design, construction)
- Effort (How much time was put into the costume)
Stage Shows
For the live entertainment
during the Kid’s Day portion of HighBall, we got none other than The Shazzbots!
The Shazzbots are a kids rock band that is well known throughout central Ohio.
Their show is always high energy and keeps the kids moving. Their quirky kid’s
music will no doubt rock the stage and impress all of the participants of HighBall
Kid’s Day!
Also hitting the stage during
Kid’s Day will be Battle Talez Break Dancers. Make sure you don’t miss the
up-tempo, mind-bending, moves of this talented group as they perform before The
Shazzbots!
Workshops & Crafts
There will be also Catrina
Face Painting and Sugar Skull Decorating workshops going on with the
mini-pumpkin decorating. What could be a better opportunity to explore the
artistic talent that’s been hiding within your child than with these workshops
and crafts? Please come and let out all your kid’s creative juices flow and
share it with other adorable children.

In order to celebrate the
inaugural Kid’s Day at Highball, we had to go all out. The most important part
of HighBall is the experience, so that’s exactly what they’ll get! Parents are
encouraged to dress up and take part in the fun, and trust us there will be
plenty of it. Take your kid to HighBall and give them a chance to be star of
the show!
